Aims
Advance provides supported work placements, training and personal development within Cornish World Media (comprised of 2 Pentreath Social Firms - Cornish World and Vitality Matters).
The aim is to break down barriers to employment people may face whilst returning to the labour market by encouraging work stamina, skills and attitude. Additional activities may include personal development, training towards a recognised qualification, and a support with recruitment procedures.
Each client will have an individual action plan agrees at the beginning of the programme where barriers will be discussed. Once this has happened the service user will set their hours for the work placement.
Advance can help with travel costs and childcare/dependent care.
