Do you want to live a healthy, fulfilled and independent life? Our Enablement workers will help you to:
If this sounds like the kind of project you’d like to get involved with then read on... By providing one-to-one short term (approximately 12 weeks) support your worker can help you spend time in a productive and fulfilling way, through social and leisure activities, voluntary work, education or training. We pride ourselves on working to your individual needs and to ensure we do this effectively your Community Enablement Worker will contact you to find out how you are and about your progress after the 12 weeks. We work in partnership with the Rural Community Link Projects CIC (RCLP) and West Cornwall Mind in order to cover the whole of Cornwall. If you live in North or East Cornwall (made up by the former North Cornwall and Caradon districts) the Pentreath Enablement project could be for you. Our Enablement project is available to anyone over the age of 18 who is not accessing the services of Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) or those with low to moderate mental health concerns. The project does not accept referrals from clinicians. If you like the sound of all this but don’t live in North or East Cornwall then click on the links to the right to find out more.
