We are seeking 4 x Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialists

Project: Individual Placement and Support (IPS)

As an Employment Specialist you’ll play a vital role in transforming lives, offering hope, structure and independence to those facing mental health challenges.

Team

Base Area Hours Flexibility with hours

Carrick Community Mental Health Team*

Truro Health Park Carrick – includes Truro and Falmouth areas 37

Can consider a reduction to 30 hours but must include Tuesday and Wednesday mornings

Restormel Community Mental Health Team*

Alexandra House, St Austell Mid Cornwall – includes St Austell and Newquay areas 37

Can consider a reduction to 22.5 hours minimum but must include a Wednesday morning and Tuesday afternoon

Arbennek Primary Care Network

The Clays Health Centre, Roche Areas surrounding GP surgeries in Roche, St Stephen, Probus and the Roseland 37

Can consider a reduction to 30 hours but must include a Wednesday morning

East Early Intervention in Psychosis Team* Carew House, Bodmin East Cornwall – areas include Lostwithiel, Bodmin, Launceston, Bude, Saltash and Torpoint 37

Can consider a reduction to 30 hours but must include Tuesday and a Wednesday morning

 

Salary: £27,985.59 – £29,750.00 per annum (pro rata part time)

Fixed term contract to: 31st March 2027 with potential to continue 

* Caveat: Due to conflict of interest, an individual cannot apply for a vacancy based in a mental health team or early intervention team that they are currently, or have previously been, under the care of.

Other requirements:

  • A full driving licence and use of a vehicle insured for work purposes is essential. Please ensure you confirm this on section J of the supporting statement on the application form
  • Homeworking is not part of this role. Please check the n/a box on section K of the supporting statement on the application form.
