Recovery College Cornwall
The Recovery College Cornwall and Gentle Yoga Rebellion are working in collaboration to offer Yoga for Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshops in North Cornwall
This half-day, trauma-informed Yoga for Mental Health & Wellbeing workshop from Gentle Yoga Rebellion CIC is open to anyone interested in how Yoga can support overall health and wellbeing.
The session offers insight into the mind–body connection, practices that help us to stay grounded, present, and better able to regulate our nervous systems. Throughout the workshop, we will explore gentle, accessible practices that help release stress from the body, while recognising that becoming more embodied can help steady our busy, active minds.
All practices will be chair-based, with guidance on how to integrate these tools and techniques into daily life.
This workshop is designed to support both individuals looking to improve their own wellbeing and those who support others – personally or professionally – around mental health.
The workshop will be led by Trish, an experienced Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist who specialises in accessible and inclusive Yoga. She will be supported by Toni, a volunteer with lived experience of mental health recovery, who will share insights into the positive impact Chair Yoga can have on this journey.
