The Yep! project supports young people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, aged 16-24 who are not in employment, education, or training.  It will enable them to develop the resilience and skills to make informed choices around access to education, employment and training based on their interests and skills.

The Youth Engagement Programme (YEP) is funded by Cornwall Council and supports young people aged 16–24 who are not in employment education or training.  It is  delivered via a partnership of organisations providing tailored support to help young people build confidence, develop skills, and progress into education, training, or employment.  Pentreath is delivering the mental health support within this project.

We will support young people to develop their mental health, resilience and skills to enable them to make informed choices around access to education, employment and training based on their interests and skills.

We use a practical, hands on and nurturing approach to supporting young people and always place them at the centre of the provision.  Each young person who joins the project will be assigned a 1 to 1 advisor who will support them for 3 – 6 months depending on need and progress through the project.

If you have any questions about the Yep! project then please contact us on 01726 862727

Referrals can be made direct through the Yep referral link below.  Please note this is an external link which will take you to the Yep project page on the Cornwall Council website.  When completing the form, in the additional comments box you will need to identify a mental health need to ensure the referral comes to Pentreath.

Alternatively, please complete the Pentreath referral form via the top of this page.
