About Us
Role: Employment Specialist
Project: Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
Overview:
As an integral and highly valued member of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Service, the Employment Specialist will join Pentreath’s IPS team to deliver IPS as part of the holistic recovery plan for mental health service users who have experienced mental ill health and who are unemployed.
Employment Specialists work directly with all relevant stakeholders including the service user, clinicians, consultant psychiatrists, other professionals, partner agencies and employers, to support service users to gain and retain paid employment.
Training to enable delivery of the IPS approach is provided.
Due to conflict of interest, we cannot appoint someone to the role who is being, or has previously been, treated by the Caradon Community Mental Health Team.
